This work is inspired by the four stages of contemplation: acknowledging a behaviour that needs to be changed, acknowledging the problem, the determination of getting ready to change and finally, the action/willpower of changing.
Melinda is a Filipino-Canadian artist based in Toronto with a background in fashion design and fine art. Her work is based on personal perspectives of the female form connected to her narrative on body image, body ownership, and emotional awareness.
